Ability of endophytic fungi associated with Cinchona ledgeriana to produce Cinchona alkaloids.

We have investigated the ability of endophytic filamentous fungi associated with Cinchona ledgeriana (Rubiaceae) to produce Cinchona alkaloids on potato dextrose agar medium and in a synthetic liquid medium.
