Empirical analysis of educators’ competence revealed that there is a room for the development of educators’ digital teaching competency. The guiding question for the current study is: What approach would facilitate the development of educators’ digital teaching competence? The aim of the study is to analyze scientific literature on the ways of the development of digital competence underpinning elaboration of an approach to the enhancement of educators’ digital teaching competence. The research methods include literature analysis and theoretical modelling.
