Flowers of Butea monosperma (Lam.) Taub. havebeen widely used in treatment of various diseases and differentpurposes such as antifertility, antidiarrhoea, antifungal, antiinflammatory,antimicrobial, anticancer, antihelmintic, andantidiabetic properties. However, few studies on antioxidantand antidiabetic activities of flower extract from this planthave been established.
