Add to ORKGThe Labour Law of Iran presents differenttypes of contracts from which employers and workers canfreely choose. However, approximately 80 % of work contractsin Iran which are signed are Temporary Contracts. This showsthat the number of Temporary Contracts is more than theinternational standard. Likewise, this issue has a devastatingeffect on the job security and the life of workers. This researchintends to study the types of work contracts, especiallytemporary work contracts, in the Labour Law of Iran.Additionally, the author plans to analyse the effect of theproliferation of temporary agreements on the rights of workersin Iran and the consequences of such temporary agreements onthe lives of these workers.
