LUTAS SOCIAIS NA BOLÍVIA E O PROTAGONISMO DOS MOVIMENTOS SOCIAIS ANTISSISTÊMICOS

Este artigo analisa as lutas sociais na Bolívia em 2008, quando o país entrou em uma guerra civil provocada pelo movimento de separação das províncias do Leste, ameaçando o governo do presidente Evo Morales. Destaca que as intervenções das entidades ligadas às classes sociais dominantes das províncias do Leste e o papel dos EUA como articulador desse processo ameaçam não apenas a soberania da Bolívia, mas dos diversos países latinos que no momento aplicam políticas de governo que entram em choque com o neoliberalismo. The interventions of the linked entities to the dominant social classes of the provinces of the East and the role of the USA as an articulator of that process not just threatened the sovereignty of Bolivia but of the several Latin countries that at that moment applied government’s policies that opposed the new liberalism.Keywords: Social fights, sovereignty, social movements
