Caracterización de la memoria visual de ajedrecistas escolares en Granma (Original)

The present investigation was carried out in the EIDE "Pedro Batista" of Granma, we worked with the 5 athletes of twelve years of the school chess team. It was implemented with the objective of characterizing the visual memory of the athletes. To this end, a cross-sectional, descriptive study was carried out; through a mixed research design. In it, the theoretical and methodological foundations of Cognitive Neuropsychology and the Psychological Preparation of the athlete are assumed. Research methods of theoretical and empirical knowledge were used. The results obtained show inadequate performance results of the visual memory component of the executive function of working memory, as well as conserved coefficients of intellectual and attentional performance in 100% of the population.La presente investigación se realizó en la EIDE " Pedro Batista" de Granma, se trabajó con los 5 atletas de doce años del equipo escolar de ajedrez. Se implementó con el objetivo de caracterizar la memoria visual de los atletas. Para ello se realizó un estudio de corte transversal, descriptivo; a través de un diseño de investigación mixto. En la misma se asumen los fundamentos teóricos y metodológicos de la Neuropsicología Cognitiva y la Preparación Psicológica del deportista. Se utilizaron métodos de investigación del conocimiento teórico y empírico. Los resultados obtenidos muestran resultados inadecuados de funcionamiento del componente memoria visual de la función ejecutiva memoria de trabajo, así como coeficientes conservados de rendimiento intelectual y atencional en el 100% de la población
