This article will discuss rape as a violation of women\u27s human rights in wartime, specifically addressing the mass rapes in Bosnia, and will analyze the human rights documents currently in place to prevent and punish this violation. The author will discuss the current initiatives before the United Nations (U.N.), such as the Draft Declaration on the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
