Several cytokinins were studied in the culture media with the aim of induction of adventitious buds in the cv. ‘Gran Naine’. The largest explant values with development of adventitious buds were obtained when Thidiazuron (TDZ) was used in the culture medium, with only two sub-cultures needed to develop 62-83% explant with these structures.
