Programa de mediación en ejecución del centro educativo Aranguren (Navarra)

The goal of this piece of work is to address the standing of minors who are involved in conflictive situations in the chartered community of Navarre. Even though it is an indisputable and socially significant fact, the treatment offered to the young people who transgress the rules is seldom brought to public attention. Very often, media, and consequently society, just approach this reality from a sensationalist point of view or morbid fascination, oblivious to the fact that all delinquents, and especially young ones, after serving whatever measure they may be imposed, will reenter society, and it is in our common interest that they do so in the best conditions possible, as our security depends on it. From this perspective, we will conduct a study at a leading center in Navarre for intervention on minors who have been judged by the criminal justice system for serious felonies where internment measures have been imposed upon them.El objetivo de este trabajo es realizar un acercamiento a los menores en situaciones de conflicto en la Comunidad Foral Navarra. Siendo un hecho incontrovertible y de gran trascendencia social, el tratamiento que se ofrece a aquellos jóvenes que transgreden las normas es algo sobre lo que no se informa habitualmente. Los medios de comunicación, y con ello la sociedad, muchas veces limitan su acercamiento al sensacionalismo o las noticias morbosas, sin pensar que todos los delincuentes, y más los menores delincuentes, después del cumplimiento de la medida que les sea impuesta, van a regresar a la sociedad y todos somos parte interesada en que lo hagan en las mejores condiciones posibles, pues a todos nos va la seguridad en ello. Desde este posicionamiento nos vamos a acercar a un centro referente en Navarra para la intervención con los menores que entran en contacto con el sistema penal por hechos graves y son sancionados con medidas de internamiento de cualquier índole
