International audienceThis paper deals with learning a third language – besides French and French Sign Language (LSF) as far as deaf students are concerned. In France deaf students, just like hearing counterparts, are required to attend foreign language classes – usually English – when they enter secondary school. In order to analyse how French deaf students are taught and learn a foreign language at school, quantitative data were collected.
