Many are familiar with the phrase money can\u27t buy you happiness or don\u27t let the things you own end up owning you, and current research even seems to suggest that the continual aspiration for wealth is negatively correlated with life satisfaction. However, using variables such as the Self-Extension Tendency Scale and Satisfaction with Life Scale, we sought to understand the relationship between the actual finances, age, satisfaction and the self-identification with personal possessions.
