The purpose of this article is to discuss the job burnout syndrome based on the organizational context model proposed by Dr. Maslach and Dr. Leiter. This paper presents the burnout symptoms in the physical, behavioral, psychological, social, attitudinal, and cognitive areas. It also explains its impact on institutions.
