Entrepreneurship today plays a transcendental role in the global economy, since it supports employment, economic development and even innovation in a country. The present work determines the impact of the behavioral and managerial approaches of entrepreneurship on the success of the business. An empirical study was conducted on 252 directors of newly created companies (from 0 to 3 years of opening) in four cities in northern Mexico, using probabilistic sampling. Through the quantitative method and the technique of structural equations it was possible to verify within the behavioral approach that personal traits and motivation exert a positive and significant impact on the success of the entrepreneur.
