The objective of the study were to find out the sudents’ perception on English as medium of instruction used by the English lecturers in English Study Program of IAIN Palangkaraya and the extent of lecturer use English in classroom. This study used both quantitative and qualitative method to collect the data and belonged to survey research. The population of the study was the English students generation 2016-2017 at IAIN Palangkaraya. The writer took 41 students as the sample for questionnaire to answer first problem of the study and the writer observed 3 classes in order to solve the second problem.
