This study examines the relationship between Postpartum Depression and mother-child bonding. Data is being collected from 84 mothers, 18 years and older who have given birth in the last 6 months through an online survey and two health centers. Participants will complete the Post-Partum Bonding Questionnaire, the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale, and demographics. A correlational analysis will be done to analyze how PPD and mother-child bonding relate to each other, as well with other demographics. It is hypothesized that higher levels of Postpartum Depression are associated with weaker mother-child bonds, and certain demographics increase this likelihood. IRB approval #18-03
