Isoxazolines are organic molecules characterized by their five-membered ring heterocycles containing nitrogen and oxygen, and by their diverse synthetic and biological properties. Isoxazoline derivatives exhibit quite a significance in medicinal chemistry, with reported anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, antifungal, antibacterial, anti-tuberculosis, analgesic and anticonvulsant activity.
