Anxiety has increased in students over the last few decades and has proven to affect their well-being and overall academic performance. One common factor that has increased stress-levels is the implementation of standardized testing. The pressure and weight that standardized tests put on students are detrimentally affecting their grades and overall health. In addition, certain demographics are being more negatively affected by standardized tests; therefore, putting specific groups at a disadvantage.
