Literacy skills affect every other subject, making literacy skills crucial to success in school. Educators need to know what factors contribute to the success of reading and vocabulary strategy for students with learning disabilities. My analysis of the research literature found many effective strategies incorporate four common factors: regularly checking understanding, being easily individualized, asking clarifying questions, and providing the student with a study buddy or study group.https://ecommons.udayton.edu/stander_posters/2361/thumbnail.jp
