In an effort to increase sexual violence awareness and prevention among male students, I have collected teaching resources, formed contacts with community advisors, and conducted four small discussion groups consisting of five to twelve men residing in Minnesota State University, Mankato dormitories. I observed participants, requested evaluations of the sessions, and analyzed respondent evaluation forms for receptiveness to discussion of sexual violence and awareness. I found that while stereotypes of the Women\u27s Studies Department made men apprehensive about participating, this did not indicate lack of male interest in sexual violence prevention.
