Numerous studies have shown that video modeling (VM) interventions can improve various skills of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). VM is a technique that involves participants watching a video of a peer model demonstrating a desired behavior and then imitating the same behavior. The purpose of this research was to examine the impact of a VM intervention on social skills, defined as appropriate greeting tasks, of three elementary school-aged students with ASD. This study expands previous research on VM by measuring social skills using a social story as primer.
