The Millennials are a generation of parents that are a distinct and unique break from any generation that has gone before. Their education, their particular brand of Catholicism, and their methods for raising their children call on educators to re-think how we communicate and foster their support and cooperation. This presentation will offer some background on families today, and explore some strategies for harnessing the energies of today’s parents for the furthering of the mission of Catholic schools, and for the formation of the next generation of parents. Audience: Teacher, Principal, Superintendent, Funder/Supporter, Advocate for Catholic Education, Board Members, Parent-School Organizations
