A gelatin silver print of a saint wearing robes carries the Baby Jesus in his arms; a tree is visible in the background. The saint is not named anywhere on the card, but is probably Saint Anthony of Padua, who is traditionally depicted holding the Baby Jesus in artwork. The back of the card has an inscription commemorating the ordination and first solemn mass of Father George Knippen in April of 1934. There also appears on the back a verse of unknown origin above the inscription, and a passage from Edgar Allen Poe\u27s poem \u27Catholic Hymn\u27 below the inscription. Created by N.G.
