How much can we trust the Bible historically? Is there evidence that the kingdom of David and Solomon ever existed? In this lecture, Michael Hasel answers these questions and more. He presents the recent findings of a number of excavation sites throughout Israel, demonstrating the amazing advances in information that have been accomplished in our knowledge of ancient Israelite writing, politics, and daily life. Michael Hasel (PhD 1996, University of Arizona) is director of the Institute of Archaeology and curator of the Lynn H. Wood Archaeological Museum at Southern Adventist University.
