“Food” was one of many posters issued during World War I to encourage support of the war. This poster was illustrated Fredric Gross Cooper in 1917. Cooper was a well-known American graphic designer and poster artist. The poster encourages voluntary rationing and limiting of consumption to protect the civilian food supply during WWI by listing various ways to conserve food.
