Service Learning: Driving School Reform in the 1990s

Introduction: New initiatives in education reform are sprouting up everywhere. Spurred on by A Nation At Risk, educators have been trying to find the magic formula for preventing dropouts while at the same time producing students who surpass the Germans, Japanese, and everyone else in test scores.
