Parental involvement has received a lot of attention for being a crucial part of a child\u27s academic success. However, there are differences between the types of involvement seen in White, middle-class parents and types of involvement seen in Latino parents. These cultural differences, specifically acculturation to the dominant culture have had an impact on children\u27s academic success.
