We know that college is a stressful time for most working college students, but it’s not just the course load that has students pulling their hair out. Previous studies show that the support or lack thereof in students coping with stress. This study in reference with the Job Demands/ Resource Model, examined the effects of resources and demands of those particular relationships on the overall stress experienced by working college students. Students responses were thus correlated in comparison the subjects age and gender, as well as how many total hours they were working. While there was no significant outcome of our study, our findings still were consistent with features of the Job Demands Resource Model and other studies
