Omaha - The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) has been designated as the home for the world\u27s first Center for Research in Human Movement Variability thanks to a $10.1 million grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The grant is the largest research grant in university history and places UNO at the forefront of a rapidly expanding area of scientific research. Under the leadership of Nick Stergiou, Ph.D., UNO\u27s new research center will further the work of UNO biomechanical researchers in developing new treatments for patients recovering from movement-affecting disorders such as stroke and autism
