This paper aims to explore Appalachian college students’ health apps use by examining the most common types of health apps downloaded, the design elements that are perceived as most important, and the relationship between health consciousnesses and perceived utility of health applications. The majority of college students’ own smartphones and have the opportunity to use health apps., this research would help them mobile applications more useful and marketable to college students.
