Teaching writing is never easy, and Academic Writing for Graduate Students is one of the most challenging courses offered by INTO Marshall. This session will describe one approach to the course, its syllabus, participants, course modifications, and modest successes. as taught by an instructor with decades of international experience. It is to be hoped that attendees will come away with greater empathy for graduate student writers, as well as those who take on the challenge of teaching them a skill crucial to their academic success
