Participatory Rural Appraisal

The intent of this training design is to familiarize a group of participants with the guiding philosophies, general nature, and sample techniques of Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) as a development approach. An additional intent is to expand the components of PRA (philosophies, principles, techniques, etc.) to explore how they might be applied in other fields, in non-rural environments, and for purposes other than or in addition to appraisal
