This paper examined how cultural differences impact management practices between Jordanians and Americans in consideration of three main cultural indices: “Wasta”/networking, non-verbal communication, and religion. It then analyzed data collected from a web-based survey and several interviews with American and Jordanian managers who have had experience in doing business within the cultural contexts of both nationalities. The results will be used to determine how American and Jordanian managers differ according to the three cultural indices referenced above
