Dance and Drum Education in Afiadenyigba, Ghana

The purpose of this project is t study the status of dancing and drumming education in an Anlo-Ewe rural community. The research conducted includes both traditional and formal methods of educatin in these areas. There is a wealth of dancing and drumming in a Ghanaian community and this project attempts to uncover how that resource is cultivated. As a supplement to this study, I learned drums rythms and dances of this area. This study is not meant to judge the quality of education, but rather to learn more about the Ghanaian people and society through drumming and dancing
