This paper seeks to draw attention to Human Resource Management (HRM) policies and practices in the Micro Finance Institution (MFI). The researcher has selected a case study of an organization, Intermission Micro Enterprise Development (IMED) based in Chennai, India. This organization is an Implementation Partner (IP) of Opportunity International (OI) Network, which works with five independent units in the United States of America, Germany, United Kingdom, Australia and Canada supporting 40 implementing partners around the world through micro finance for poverty alleviation.
