With over 10 million daily users, dating apps have changed the way many people around the world seek out and discover relationships. Current research shows there are many reasons people use apps such as Tinder and Bumblebee. This study seeks to expand on this research and explore the relationship between the motivations with which users begin, the unfolding process of connection, and the outcomes with which they end. We are in the process of collecting quantitative and qualitative data from a sample of undergraduate students.
