The goal of the project is to construct a single 100-meter tall, 2.5-MW Fuhrländer wind turbine at the former Georgia-Pacific West (GP West) industrial site on the Bellingham waterfront as a component of the Port of Bellingham\u27s revitalization project of the GP site. A wind turbine would serve as both a tangible symbol of Huxley College of the Environment\u27s commitment to environmental stewardship and a viable energy source for the Huxley campus extension
