The radiation shape factors from a sphere to a class of nonintersecting planes are systematically developed. Expressions derived for the view factors require only a single integration. Parameters are derived which provide solutions for all of the limiting cases, including the view factors from a sphere to a coaxial disk, sector, segment, rectangle, or noncoaxial disk
