TORONTO, March 7, 2016 – Residents of the Jane-Finch community who are facing employment law issues are about to get a helping hand from the Community and Legal Aid Services Programme (CLASP) at York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School. CLASP – a free legal clinic at Osgoode that helps York University undergraduate students and low-income persons in Toronto, with priority given to Jane-Finch residents – will officially launch its new Employment Law Division one-year pilot project on Thursday, March 10, 2016 with a reception from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Goodmans LLP Junior Common Room (1017) at the Law School.
