I examine two sides of the argument for the outlook in the future pharmacy job market. One side states that because of the over-expansion of Pharmaceutical Doctorate programs, graduate students will saturate the marketplace with the consequence that jobs will dry up. The other side looks at multiple other factors including an aging population, a rising demand in healthcare services, expansion of patient care activities, as well as a fairly steady Aggregate Demand Index, showing that graduate students will indeed continue to find jobs in the future.
