The millennial generation, born between, 1980 to 2000, is entering the workforce in vast numbers. This cohort numbers 83.1 million, and has surpassed the baby boomer generation as the largest group in the United States. Characteristics often reported in the literature about this group include perceptions of being special, sheltered, confident, pressured, team-oriented, achieving, and conventional (Ganapathy, 2016; Howe & Strauss, 2003; Klass & Lindenburger, 2017).
