Distinguished Indian Jurist to Visit Osgoode Hall Law School TORONTO, September 18, 2013 – The Honourable Justice Dalveer Bhandari – one of India’s most distinguished jurists – will visit York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School from September 22 to 26. Bhandari is a Judge of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague, President of the India International Law Foundation and a former Judge of the Supreme Court of India. He has also served as Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court and as a Judge of the High Court of Delhi. “Osgoode Hall Law School is honoured that Justice Bhandari will be visiting us,” said Osgoode Dean Lorne Sossin. “For the past several years, the Law School has been strengthening our relationship with India through opportunities such as clerkships for Osgoode students with the Supreme Court of India, partnerships with premier law schools in India, and the establishment of the Osgoode South Asian Advisory Council.
