Born and raised in Saugerties, my choice to go to Bard meant that I would be attending college only a short drive from my family, friends, and the familiarity of my hometown. Though in some ways I\u27ve deprived myself of the new experiences that come with going away for school, this has also allowed me to continue to explore and appreciate the Hudson Valley, the place I’ve called home my entire life.
