Why does it seem that during an argument, time seems to drag on forever? This project is designed to establish whether temporal bias due to angry facial expressions is enhanced in individuals who are actively induced (experiencing) with anger. Participants will estimate the duration of facial expression of anger and neutral-baseline facial expression after a training phase. In accordance to the operation of an arousal-based process in the internal clock model (ICM), the duration of angry expressions should consistently be overestimated relative to the neutral-baseline condition.
