Many people feel the water supplied by public water systems to their home faucets is not safe. Most people judge the quality of their water by taste, odor and appearance. In reading the labels, boxes and instructions on these devices to choose a reliable device, a consumer can become confused as to what the devices are able to remove from the water, by what means do they remove contaminants and how reliable these devices are.
