Contribution to the study of Corsican Cicadas (Hemiptera, Cicadidae). Based upon an examination of the collection in the Natural History Museum of Paris, and on observations carried out in natural conditions during June 2000, we provide hereafter new eco-ethological information on the four cicada species that inhabit Corsica (France). Cicada orni L., 1758 is present from mid-June to the beginning of September in wooded habitats similar to those where this species is found in continental France. Tibicina Corsica Corsica (Rambur, 1840) inhabits fallow fields where no other species were found. The active period for this species ranges from the beginning of June to the beginning of August.
