The price of agricultural land in 1967. There was no major disturbing feature on the land market in 1967, and the main trends remained the same as in the two preceding years. Land values for the whole of France increased at the average rate of about 6 % ; the slowdown recorded since 1965 was therefore confirmed, and even accentuated. As in the past, the rise was greater for arable land than for natural grassland, a feature which was even more marked in 1967 owing to the difficulties encountered by stockbreeding, in contrast with the recovery of interest in cereal growing in several regions.
