Summary. -On Mt. Bana, between 1800 and 2050 m high, 167 species of Rhopalocera have been recorded. This specific diversity is greater than on other mountains of Cameroon Highlands. The high number of low altitude species can be explained by the proximity of the littoral plain, air currents and temporary repopulation. The orophilic species number 18. Specific diversity is greater than expected in Eucalyptus plantations undergrowth, but is extremely weak in mountain forest'one ; it reaches its maximum on forest edges.Résumé. -Sur le Mont Bana (Cameroun), entre 1800 et 2050m d'altitude, 167 espèces de Rhopalocères ont été inventoriées.
