During my time at John Carroll, I was a member and President of the Labre Project, a homeless outreach student organization founded fifteen years ago. I spent almost every Friday at John Carroll out on the streets of Cleveland delivering meals and chatting with people experiencing homelessness. Through this experience, I learned many facts and lessons about what it is like to be homeless, how people become homeless, and how the city of Cleveland is trying to solve problems surrounding the homeless population.
