Perbedaan Perilaku Pemberian MPASI Antara Ibu Yang Mempunyai Baduta Stunting dan Non Stunting di Puskesmas Prambanan Kabupaten Klaten

Introduction : Stunting is considered an irreversible growth disorder which is largely influenced by inadequate nutrient intake and recurrent infections during the first 1000 days of life. Complementary of breast milk is an additional food that contains nutrients and is given from the age of 6-24 months to meet nutritional needs other than breast milk. Poor complementary of breast milk behavior can lead to an increased risk of infection and stunting. Objective : The purpose of this study was to determine the difference the difference of behavior giving food complementary of breast milk between mothers have stunting and non stunting toddler in prambanan health center in klaten. Research Methodology : Method this research was observasional with cross sectional design. The sample in this study were 90 toddler divided into 45 stunting and 45 non stunting. The sampling technique uses simple random samping. The research instrument used a research form about giving food complementary of breast milk. Statistical test using Mann Whitney. Results : The results showed a different test on the accuracy of the first age of giving MPASI showed a value of p=0.002. The difference test of the accuracy of the duration of breastfeeding shows the value of p=0.003. Different test the accuracy of the form of giving MPASI showed the value of p=0.040. Different test the accuracy of the portion of MPASI administration showed the value of p=0.030. Different test the accuracy of the frequency of giving MPASI shows the value of p=0.046. Different test the accuracy of how to give MPASI shows the value of p=0.006. Conclusion : There was a difference between the accuracy of the first age of giving MPASI, the length of breastfeeding, the form of MPASI, the portion of MPASI, the frequency of MPASI and the way of giving MPASI between mothers who have stunting and non stunting in Puskesmas Prambanan Klaten.
