Pendidikan Karakter melalui Karakter Nabi Muhammad SAW di SDIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta Tahun 2018/2019

This study aims to describe: 1) How to plan character education through the character of the Prophet Muhammad, 2) How to carry out character education through the character of the Prophet Muhammad, 3) How to evaluate character education through the character of the Prophet Muhammad, 4) What are the obstacles and solutions in applying character education through the character of the Prophet Muhammad. This type of research is qualitative and descriptive research design. Data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. The validity of the data uses source triangulation and technique triangulation. Data analysis techniques in this study include: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that, 1) Planning for character education through the character of the Prophet Muhammad SAW namely the design of learning implementation according to the 2013 curriculum and the curriculum of the Integrated Islamic School Network, 2) Implementation: school culture and intracuricular activities related to Islamic values in accordance with the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad, 3 ) Evaluation using 3 competency assessments: cognitive, affective, psychomotor, 4) Obstacles and character education solutions through the character of the Prophet Muhammad SAW include: schools are less able to monitor student behavior when they are outside of school, while the solution is to instill Islamic values as outlined in the school's vision , there is periodic coordination between schools and parents and adequate facilities and infrastructure
